Work & Advisory
Administrator · Adviser · Connector
I am an administrator and adviser with four years of experience at the heart of Amsterdam’s local government. As party group leader, committee chair and member of the council’s presidium, I organised decision-making, scrutinised and advised the city executive, and brought together parties with opposing interests. I now bring that experience to organisations working on social challenges.
What I bring
Governance experience from the inside
I know how the council, the executive and the civil service work, what makes a proposal viable and where it gets stuck.
Connecting without hierarchy
In coalitions, alliances and networks I set direction and turned agreements into results, even without formal authority.
Leadership and communication
I led a team of twelve and was responsible for spokesmanship, press and campaigns.
