Free help with money matters: make sure students know
New students and residents are better pointed to free financial education and support.

Why this motion
Many residents and students don’t know about the free financial education and support offered by colleges, universities and neighbourhood teams, even though the city already invests in it.
People who find that help stay financially healthier and avoid problematic debt.
What the council asks
The city council asks the mayor and aldermen to:
- 1Work with educational institutions and neighbourhood teams to clearly inform new students about free financial education and support.
- 2Make the existing offer more visible and regularly check whether the target groups are reached, without duplication.
